Rotterdam, NL downtempo/deathcore crushers DISTANT have premiered a music video for their pummelling song “Hollow Eyes” today at Slam Worldwide. The track is off of their newest album Tyrannotophia which was released on June 7th via Unique Leader.
Described as “huge fun and brutally enjoyable” by Wonderbox Metal with Metal Trenches adding that DISTANT is “one of the sickest bands in deathcore right now”, Tyrannotophia sees the group exponentially upping their already jaw dropping intensity and establishing themselves as one of the most extreme, vitriolic voices in their genre.
The 11 track album, which was recorded by band guitarist Nouri Yetgin, features artwork by Pedro “Lordigan” Sena (Ingested, Organectomy).
The band commented on the video, “We are excited to present a new live music video taken from our headlining Tyrannotophia release tour. The video showcases the violent and energetic atmosphere of the shows.“
DISTANT will hit the road in Europe this November alongside labelmates Ingested, Within Destruction, and Signs of the Swarm as part of the “Decade of Human Suffering” tour. The trek, which runs from November 1st – 23rd, covers a large portion of mainland Europe and the UK and will see headliners Ingested performing their legendary debut Surpassing the Boundaries of Human Suffering in full.
