North Carolina progressive deathcore outfit KROSIS have partnered with Lambgoat to premiere a new Matti Way (From the North Films) directed music video for their track “Immolation Fist”. The song is off of their Unique Leader debut Solem Vatem which will see a March 9th release date.
Drummer Dan Cece says of the video, “”Matti Way, of From The North Films, is one of the coolest people we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! He did a tremendous job with this video and we can’t thank him enough. We all collectively felt that ‘Immolation Fist’ had the perfect mix of intricate, progressive musicianship and crushing brutality to be the first track that we released off of Solem Vatem. This is only the tip of the iceberg for what’s in store on the rest of the record!”

Guitarist Brandon Scurlark said of the effort, “We’ve always tried to stay away from generic formulas, but we wanted to achieve something unusual with this album that gave people a fresh perspective on deathcore. It seems like heavier music has to be placed within a certain box for artistry and diversity when it comes to composition, but we really feel like we said to “hell with that box” and put exactly what we wanted within each track. We couldn’t be more excited to release this album on a label like Unique Leader considering how unorthodox our style is compared to the other artists on their roster. This album is not only a step up from any of our previous releases, but it’s a perfect display of what we feel our music should be and the direction we want to go in from this point on. From tranquil and beautiful clean sections to sludgy disgusting vocals and hard-hitting riffs, we feel like this album will be a unique listening experience for anyone that comes across it.”
KROSIS has also released their official video for “Melting Point”.

KROSIS, hailing from Raleigh, Nc, formed in 2014. This group of talented musicians saw an unsatisfactory pattern of stagnation starting within modern metal music and formed with the intent of combining their diverse influences and creating something truly unique. Too much of modern death metal and deathcore is limited to a paradigm; KROSIS seeks to eliminate boundaries. With backgrounds in rock, jazz, concert bands, and music theory, they bring together many parts of the musical spectrum and emerge with a new and exciting take on a tired genre.
